Glee dream team Chris Colfer and Darren Criss grace the cover of the January 28, 2011 issue of Entertainment Weekly. The dynamic duo are the main focus of the magazine's feature story on the history of gay teens on television, which includes everyone from My So-Called Life's Ricky Vasquez (Wilson Cruz) to Ian Gallagher (Cameron Monaghan) on Shameless.
Colfer tell the magazine that his character Kurt BlaineKurt and Blaine (Criss) are "kind of like the Joanie and Chachi of our generation. When we made the announcement Kurt was getting a boyfriend, people went bats."
Glee creator Ryan Murphy added that Criss's character Blaine "has become a favorite of the network executives. That character transcends sex. I find it interesting that he's a heartthrob for women and men."
As for the seemingly inevitable pairing up of Blaine and Kurt, Colfer told TV Guide that "there might be a development." And the rumor circulating is that Blaine will confess his love for Kurt on Glee's February 8th episode.
