Ricky Martin's Coming Out Letter

In March of this year, 2010, Ricky Martin wrote a beautiful letter to officially say to the world what all gays wanted to hear, for 2 reasons: First because every single celebrity who comes out and show that there is nothing wrong being gay, is a big support for the gay community. And the second reason is, he is a bloody hot guy:) For Diva Noxx, the most cute gay man that ever existed on this planet.

Bjork for Alexander McQueen

After a marathon month of fashion shows, the spring/summer 2011 shows are behind us and, with them, some very memorable moments. In London, the fashion world stopped to remember Alexander McQueen at a moving memorial at St Paul's Cathedral, where Bjork held us captivated with her rendition of Gloomy Monday. His collaboration with Björk produced the cover of her 1997 album Homogenic, and he also directed the video for the song “Alarm Call”.

Gay life in Prague: The Myth

All the gays around the globe know and admire the films of Bel Ami and like any other company that knows how to sell your product well, Bel Ami has created an image of perfection and extreme sensuality about Czech boys and consequently Prague gay life, where they will see countless hot boys walking on the streets of Prague, in the supermarket, at parties, bars and clubs, what brings so much hope for gay tourists who step in this town thinking they are going to live the biggest and most exciting sexual experience of their lives.

Oh, come on! As happens in Hollywood, Bel Ami creates fantasies and illusions to bring a little joy to our lives, and they do it very well by the way, but the reality is quite different. It is true that the boys from the lullabies movies are HOT, but where are they?  They do not frequent the gay places and the other boys who do not belong to the menu of any porn movie production, even though they are so beautiful and sexy as the ones in the movies, they do not show any interest in other boys in a club, you rarely see boys kissing on the dance floor, flirting or taking their t-shirt off to show their muscular bodies. What makes it quite clear that there is a range of false expectations of the tourists coming here in search of hot sex with some pretty boy like in the movies. Is a myth to believe that Prague has a hot gay night life just because its here where they produce fantastic films. Who knows what is  the night life in other big cities also knows what I am talking about.

The question is:  What is missing in the gay scene to make the night life in Prague a little bit warmer?  

Mezipatra Film Festival

MEZIPATRA is a specialised film festival presenting films with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender themes. Mezipatra was founded in 2000 in Brno and it has since expanded to Prague and other Czech cities.

Besides film, Mezipatra presents a varied off-program of parties, exhibitions, concerts, performances, readings, debates and conferences.

Since the first edition, Mezipatra had 75 000 audiences.

The dates of 2010 edition are:

The Drag Queen mood and style is something that people knows for a long time already, but not often we see a celebrity going into this. Adam Lambert is an American singer who impressed me.  In May 2009, he finished as the runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol. The Times identified Lambert as the first openly gay mainstream pop artist to launch a career on a major label in the United States.

Lambert released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, in November 2009, The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 in December 2009, selling 198,000 copies in the United States in the first week.

What about a Queen in a Diva´s blog? As many of you guys, Diva Noxx also adores Madonna, the artist who took risks. And many of you are who you are, do what you like and live in a sociaty with much less taboos thanks to her.

She is not only the Queen of Pop, and no matter if you love or hate her, sooner or later, if you are clever enough, you have to admit that this woman helped to change the world, specially for women and gays. Yes, she did!

At the peak of her 9 year career, she challenged the way society thinks about sex and sexuality.

They called her a bitch, slut, whore, sexually confused person.

But she knew exactly what she was.

She released ‘Sex’ in 1992. Before all of those young sex Pop bitches come out!

Despite efforts to boycott or ban the book, it sold 150,000 units on the first day of its release in the U.S., and sold out worldwide 3 days after its release (1.5 million copies).

The book is not printed anymore, so it’s a rare commodity. You can buy a sealed version of it on Ebay for $330.

Pride Rainbow Flag

The Rainbow (or Gay Pride) Flag was created by artist and vexillographer Gilbert Baker, a friend of the late Harvey Milk, in 1978. It has since been used around the world as a symbol of LGBT unity in many variations, including adaptations such as bumper stickers and decals. The Rainbow Flag is recognized by the International Congress of Flag Makers. The Rainbow (Pride) Flag lives in the public domain.

Colors of the Rainbow Flag:

The original flag had eight stripes from top to bottom: pink (sexuality), red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), turquoise (magic), indigo/blue (serenity), and violet (spirit). Within a year, the flag had shed two of its stripes—pink and violet. According to Gilbert, they "ran out of pink dye." The violet stripe was later taken out to create an even number of stripes on the flag.

Italian artist Diego Tolomelli works in stained glass in his Rome studio, where he makes art in the following categories: Interiors, religious and erotic stained glass. It’s kind of nice to present the spirit and the body together in this way, and a idea that has been taken further in the artworks. The juxtaposition of the formal, line-dominated glasswork with the more naturalistic nudes is rather interesting visually, even if the nudes could be better drawn.
